Make Wanderlodge
Model M380
Length 38
2004 Wanderlodge M380
Basic Info NoGas is the WOG handle not her name... She’s a 15 year old dual slide coach that was far ahead of its time. Wanderlodge owners are just the caretakers because these coaches were built to last forever! An aluminum exterior, 36,000 GVW non-tag rear axle with a 400 HP Cummins ISL and Allison 3000 transmission. She averages 8 and sometimes gets as much as 10 mpg. Her straight exhaust pipe helps with mileage and acceleration too. All M380’s have 4-corner independent air suspension and disk brakes all around, together with a super sharp 54 degree wheel cut. That means she accelerates, turns, corners, tracks and drives like few other coaches ever built. Almost as if she’s on rails! Have never seen how fast she’ll go and don’t intend to!

An aluminum exterior with full body DuPont Imeron paint typically seen only on very high-end coaches. Regularly mistaken for a new coach, even though she has 15 years under her belt.

Concealed ceiling AC ducting, cherry finished solid wood cabinets, real maple wood flooring with all new appliances, LED lighting and updated tile backsplash.

Converted to an all-electric coach that loves being off-grid. There’s 1,425 watts of low profile flat mounted city solar panels feeding a fully integrated Magnum Pure Sine 3K inverter combined with a PT100 charge controller charging 1,600 Ah of L-16 AGM batteries. Who needs lithiums? The standard 12KW diesel generator is used strictly for AC, though the front unit can be run solely off solar mid-day. Throw in two 40” LED TV’s (one on a lift in the bedroom) plus an 18 cu ft Samsung refer - and indefinite boondocking subject only to water/waste tank capacity is easy. Who needs hookups?

Renovations and Repairs
No renovations and few repairs needed. However, there has been lots of upgrades. You can find full descriptions of most by searching for my detailed how-to-do-it write-ups on the WanderlodgeOwnersGroup.com forum, under the “NoGas” handle.

A 2013 Fiat 500 Pop. At 2,300 lbs, the Bird doesn’t know or care it’s back there.
