Can I change the date on a custom stop?
I setup a future 7 nights stay at a campground and I wanted to add a custom stop as a reminder to go see an attraction on a particular day during that camp stop that we have advance tickets for. But I cannot see a way to change the date to the day I need, I can only change it to either prior to the campground or after the campground. What am I doing wrong? -Bill

If you specify it as a 0 night stop, it will take on the date after the previous night's stop without adding to the total days of your trip. If you specify it as a 1 or more day stop, it will establish it's own date starting one day after the last date of the previous night's stop and add those days to your trip. And in either case, you can move it up or down to resequence the list of stops. After resequencing, the date(s) may or may not resequence also based on the two conditions mentioned above.
One other note, if you want to do this special stop while at a CG for multiple nights (a 7 night stay as example), then spit that stay into 2 entries of 3 and 4 nights and position your special stop in between both as a 0 night stay.

Actually, depending on the day you want to do this special activity, split your stay so that it occurs in the date you want to do it.

Actually, the more you use RVTW, you'll find that you establish a fairly consistent means for handling special situations such as this, and the thought process and implementation will become 2nd nature to you. And if you like printing out your trip plans for reference during your travels, you have the means to add specific notes to highlight them. Just try to refrain from doing printouts until you've got your plan as complete as you can, otherwise you'll be using a lot of paper. I always keep a notebook with routing and CG reservation confirmation info. Safe travels.

I don't believe I have ever printed out a trips directions while on the road since smart phones were invented. I'm still very used to how user friendly RVparky is to use. It lets you do all the stuff that I would expect a planner should do.
