Elevation planning

Is there a capability of having tripwizard plan a trip by elevation? Say I wanted to go from NY to California and not exceed 5000ft elevation

Not really. We do offer an Elevation grid so that you can see your elevations and move your route to a lower elevation.

Are you referring to the chart on the bottom for elevation? If so I do use that but dragging the route around to try and find lower altitude is trying at times Thanks though, maybe they could consider this as a future option

Yes, I knew about that and use it often but you had mentioned an elevation grid when I asked if you mean the elevation chart at bottom. I guess it wasnt clear but apparently we were talking about the same thing then. I use that often but dragging the route around is often a pain. Thank you for responding though.

Unless you take an extreme southern route, you have to go over the Rocky Mountains.
