Exclamation Mark in circle on map

Can someone please explain what the exclamation mark symbol on the map stands for? It is occurring in several places on my route and I can't figure it out. Also, I know there are other symbols too, like when to fill up your gas tank. Are these symbols listed anywhere? Appreciate your answers!

The exclamation marks are centered on route segments that have some issue against the criteria you have set (i.e. Unpaved roads, toll roads, ferries, etc.) Bear in mind, the last 1/4 mile of many campgrounds is an unpaved road and can trigger the exclamation mark, which will center on the entire route. You can turn on/off these criteria by clicking the tiny wrench icon and choosing Trip Settings, then go to the Routing and Driving tab.
