I am a big fan of this tool and highly recommend it. To get maximum benefit a fast internet connection is required. So plan most of your trip at home before leaving!

National Parks are listed under the Membership & Favorites tab, in the Trip Preferences menu. Locate "National Parks, Forests, and Preserves" in the column on the left and click the + sign to add it to your "My Favorites" choices on the right.

I used the RV Trip Planner to organize our 4 month road trip. Many places we are staying at do not have internet access so using the Wizard can be frustrating to make route changes or dig out information that I loaded into it.
When we do have internet access, I update the Wizard with what we actually did to keep the records straight. Then I update and download the next week or so to excel and use that while we are not on line.
I initally kept looking for Starbucks and Wallmarts that all seem to have internet access but this drew too much attention to doing that which detracted from the day to day enjoyment of our trip.
