Fixed Date is now available

Fixed Date has been released to Beta. You can select the Test release from the primary RVTW screen.

I saw the Beta yesterday but don't see it now. Has it been pulled for some tweaking?

OK...What I found is that I can do as you said. However, when I close the page and go back to it later I don't get the option and have to log out to get that option. Kinda strange but now I know.

No problem. I know how to get there now.

I edited my shortcut to https://beta.rvtripwizard.com. That does the trick.

Depending on how familiar with RVTW this might not make sense but...

Prior to the recent BETA release RVTW is dependent on your trip start date and you telling it how long you will be at each stop. If you change how many days you will be at a particular stop it changes all of your arrival dates for every stop afterwards.

With the new feature (still in BETA mode) it will allow you to lock in a specific arrival date and if you change anything before it you will get an indication of how that affects your trip.

So, let say you have a specific arrival date at a busy CG and changing it is "not an option" you can lock that arrival date. No changes you make will allow it to change unless you "unlock" it. It is a nice tool to allow you to experiment with other parts of the trip prior to your arrival.

Clear as mud?

Actually, that was a great explanation. Very clear and easy to understand it’s implications. Thanks!
