And do I,
Oh, yes, many service stations vary significantly, and some national chains are quite disappointing. They primarily cater to 18-wheelers, but I've also seen some excellent ones that provide a separate motorhome area. These locations include amenities such as overnight parking, dump stations, RV washing facilities, and power poles for hookups when staying overnight.
What impresses me is their staffing and the understanding required to use their phone apps, even for those who aren't long-haul truckers. Additionally, they offer roadside services, showers, sleep rooms, and TV rooms while waiting for vehicle service. However, the quality of staff can be inconsistent; some employees can be quite challenging to deal with. Even if you’re having a bad day, it can feel like you're stuck in basic training when encountering someone with a poor attitude. Thankfully, many staff members are friendly and enjoyable to work with. While I won’t name specific stations or individuals, I've found some exceptionally helpful and informative.
Your idea of rating service stations on a scale of 1 to 5 is good, considering the services available at each location. I've used TRIP Wizard, but it could still use some improvement. Maybe "A.I." could assist with that? Haha. I also like the concept of providing comments on different stations and locations. I like your idea of a comment on service center stations and locations. It is station by station and if connected to a chain or national chain. "Great idea."
