I was just in the beginnings of a trip plan for next year, just throwing pins on a map and connecting the dots to see what it might look like. When looking at the prospective routing, I was surprised to see multiple Fuel Warning icons along the route. Have I missed something regarding this functionality? Used to be you'd address a single warning by adding a fuel stop, and then a subsequent warning would highlight approximately where your next fuel stop should be. Does RVTW show all prospective fuel warning locations now and then adjust each subsequent one with each planned fill-up? That's going to be a lot of recalculating if you have a long trip. Just curious.

Looks like this was just added. A way to disable this in case you don't want it is coming by the end of the week.

A quick way to disable it is to change your gals to 500 and mpg to 50 or 100.

Or if you want them to completely disappear, set your tank size to 10000 gal and MPG to 1000. You should never need fuel again.

We are subscribed to Trip Wizard a few months ago after Good Sam trashed their planner (even though they keep promising it will get better). Thanks to those that suggested how to deal with the gas stop issue. Since I was just learning how to use TW I find these changes with fixes coming "two weeks" later to be especially challenging. I don't want to have to struggle with a program while planning a trip. I'd been recommending TW to friends but I've put that on hold until these new changes are stabilized.

Just to be sure you are aware, the multiple gas stop observation has been taken care of. In your trip settings, you can now select 1) to see all calculated gas stop suggestions for your planned trip; 2) to see only the next one after your last planned gas stop; or 3) none. RVTW is listening to it's customer base and evolving its product for the better. Just keep using it and playing with it. It's a great trip planning product.
