Points of Interest

As I am planning my trip for this summer, I keep finding places that I want to visit or stop by during the trip. The problem is that I don't want to put it on the map as part of the route I am taking. I would like to just mark them on the map so I can find them easier as we are traveling. Is there any way for me to create my own points of interest? Or have favorite spots?

Get the coordinates from Google Earth if you don't already have them. Then enter them one at a time into your Garmin GPS or using BaseCamp upload them to your Garmin GPS. BaseCamp is free from Garmin.

Maybe creating two trips? One for navigation to your destinations without the clutter of point of interest. The second is loaded with all the possible stops with points of interest so they are all saved and referenceable?

They made this wonderful app/program. I KNOW they can "add a pin/marker".
