Printing a trip log

Hello, I have a trip to Utah planned on RV Trip Wizard. Several months ago I printed out the itinerary which included an icon for the Good Sam campgrounds, the miles & hours to each campground from the previous one and several other categories. Now when I try to print the itinerary, the icons & the miles & hours do not print. Does anyone know where to find that "log"? I really like having the mileage & time on the log. Unfortunately I changed a couple of campgrounds so my original log is no longer accurate. Thank you for any help.

No, it has 11 columns and is so much more detailed than the one you showed. I know there was an upgrade some months ago so it may have been changed at that point.

That one went away with an upgrade. A lot of people have switched to the Excel spreadsheet. There are plans to give the users more flexibility in selection of fields for the spreadsheet, no ETA.

Well, darn! That log with times & mileage was so helpful. Guess I'll be reviewing Excel. Thanks for your help.

Sue, great idea!
I use the Excel sheet but spend a lot of time formatting it, deleting columns, etc.

Also, I stopped using Micro$oft a long while back. Refuse to pay subscription when my Apple software is so good and FREE.

So, I have to “import and convert” the .xls format currently.

What do you think about making it a generic “.csv” format and calling it “Export to Spreadsheet”?

The new one still has times and mileage. Can't the Apple just accept the .xls and .xlsx format? I use Libre and it accepts 20-30 formats. Maybe you need to tweek the Apple product or add an extension to do it.

You are the first who has mentioned this so you might want to look around and see if you are missing something.

I was curious:

Sounds like conversion is automatic less work than a CSV. Maybe you need an update.

Like I said, I have ZERO issues with importing and have been using Excel and conversions for 30 years. I can control my computer and software as easily as breathing. I know others aren’t as confident.

I was simply suggesting a more generic format that would capture all users, rather than assuming people either use, or know how to convert an .xls/.xlsx Excel format.

It’s the same philosophy of making a .psd format for Photoshop vs .jpg or .tiff formats which are truly universal and require NO conversion steps.

Again, this isn’t for me; it’s a suggestion for improving the functions of RVTW.
