Best rv gps

Personal preference question... I like, and have used for many years with great satisfaction, Garmin products. I've had an RV770 for 4 to 5 years now, use it all the time in the RV and really like it's size and functionality, especially in city areas where it's lane directions are great. And, I trust it's routing recommendations. That said, I always review the next day's routing the night prior. Nothing is infallible. As Ronald Reagan said, "Trust but Verify".

Garmin is the best. Buy the model you can afford. Even older models still work great….like Mike8253 we also use a RV770

When you buy a GPS, make sure you can add information about your rig. This way you can add the height, weight, length and the GPS will help route you around low bridges, bridges that are too light for your rig, etc...
A car GPS may not have this capability, sending you down the wrong road.

Co-Pilot RV. Running it on an inexpensive VANKYO MatrixPad S7 7 inch Android (GPS) Tablet. I also have a dashboard & windshield tablet mount holder.

I have a Garmin RV890 and am very happy with it.

I've been using a Garmin RV770 for many years and love it. As mentioned above it has the ability to enter info about your RV such as height, length and weight so you don't get trapped in a bad situation.

Purchased the garmin that has the 10” screen and have used it for a couple of months so far. Its great and we love the magnetic mount and all the features.

We have the Garmin RV 785 and it has a front facing camera that provides lane departure and collision warnings along with great GPS directions.

Go Garmin. I started with a Rand McNally and it was a bust. Constantly showed me off the interstate and telling me to do u-turns.

I use the 770 but the trucker version
This is the best gps that Garmin has ever made. The newer ones are horrible. Unfortunately others agree and used units are overpriced. New ones are long since out of production.

I've used the Garmin RV890 for more than a year and have been satisfied with it.

If you're inclined to purchase the Garmin RV890, be aware that the MSRP for it is $499.99. It's available on Amazon.com and ebay.com. Amazon regularly has a seller that offers it for a significant (today, it's available for a $100 discount) and it's available on ebay (today, it's available for a $140 discount).

Although there have been days when the best internet deal I could see was the MSRP, waiting a few days to search again might yield significant savings.
