RV Life Trip Wizard frustration adding stops
I am trying to add stops to a trip that are not campgrounds or points of interest (like staying with friends or just a city as a placeholder) and I cannot add it. Before the "upgrade" I could just search for a city or town, click on "more details" and add it to my trip. Now, unless I have a specific campground, I don't get that option. Please tell me how to add a stop that is not traditional.

What you are experiencing is that when you Right-Click on the screen to create and save a Custom Stop, the dialog box seems to be zoomed in a bit much for you to see and click on Save Custom Stop "button". So, you have to scroll down slightly to expose the button. Look at the attached to see what I'm speaking of. Hope this helps.

Try zooming your browser out to 80% or so - that usually gets the Save button to reappear.

Then I'd agree with Alan. Seems both the scroll bar and save button are covered.

I'm going to correct myself, here. While I do not have the same issue as the OP (not being able to see the scroll bar), I went back to one of my trips, and zoom level has no impact on what can be seen in the Custom Stop pop-up. For me, I can see the scroll bar as is, but no matter what the zoom % is, I have to scroll down to see the Save Custom Stop button. For the information that's supposed to be in that pop-up, it should all be seen in the pop-up as is when it pop's up.

I have tried twice to like that program and both times just go back to ALLstays to plan my trips.

That's strange. I'm in there right now just to check (using Safari on a Mac). When I right mouse click somewhere on the map, I still get the option to create a custom stop. I also tried it in Chrome and it seems to be working. Does it happen with more than one browser?

Add custom Stop
The only way it works for me to minimize screen.
See attached

The issue that I think the OP is trying to describe is that when she tries to create a custom stop (I hope she corrects me if I'm getting it wrong), the pop-up doesn't show a scroll bar, or the Save button. And if that's what's happening, and with no ability to scroll, that pop-up is a dead end.
In my own case, whether I zoom the web page in or out, the content of my pop-up doesn't change, but I do have a scroll bar to scroll down to so that I can Save. Maybe I'm missing something here, or just plain misunderstanding, but that pop-up probably needs a little work.
Aside from this one specific item, I enjoy using RVTW for planning all my trips. It's a hugely enabling tool that's worth it's weight. But you have to give an ounce of effort to learn it. Sounds like the OP, at least, is trying.

For sure! I guess what I was trying to say is I don’t get a scroll bar, just a modal contextual pop-up with three buttons. One of them is to create a custom stop. I think you’re probably right in their coding probably isn’t using a up to date web standard. Hopefully they fix it soon for whatever browsers/operating systems are having the problem. I’ve had really good experiences using it.

Thanks that helped to get to Save button.
So does that mean if you have a small screen size that I cant scroll down.
For me this issue just showed up. I've been using the custom stop frequently.
Just a positive note. I really enjoy planning our trips using RV Life Wizard

it was the zoom out feature that was blocking my ability to scroll down. It works now! thanks
