RV LIFE Trip Wizard - RV Trip Wizard has a new name!

On March 8th, 2022 you'll see an update in the URL (website address) for RV Trip Wizard. The new address will be tripwizard.rvlife.com

This change is being made to reduce confusion and facilitate simpler login across the platforms that are integrated with Trip Wizard (RV LIFE Pro app, RV LIFE Campground Reviews, etc).

With this update you'll see the site logo update a bit as well and there will be a gray alert bar on the Trip Wizard home page that you can dismiss by clicking the X on the right side.

Do I need to update my login?
Nope. Your account is the same and your login is unchanged.

Do I need to update my bookmark?
You may, but the old one will work as well.

Will I still get e-mail notices about my trips?
Yes, if you are subscribed it will still arrive to your inbox.

Has the site been sold or changed ownership?
Nope, the site is run by the same folks.

Will old links still work?
Yes. Links and outdated urls will be automatically redirected.

What do I call the site now?
Trip Wizard or RV LIFE Trip Wizard is just fine.

Why are we changing this?
During the past year we've done a huge amount of work to improve Trip Wizard and mobile access because RVers travel and use mobile devices while on the road. We've added Trip Wizard availability within the RV LIFE Pro app and mobile use has dramatically increased, but so has the confusion about the various platform names: RV LIFE, RV LIFE Pro, Trip Wizard, RV LIFE Campgrounds etc. There is one subscription to access all the awesome RV LIFE Pro tools and we hope this change will reduce confusion. We're trying to simplify.

What else do I need to know?
Camping is fun, don't forget check your tires, keep the shiny side up, don't use the water tap at the dump station to fill your freshwater tank

Seriously - ask if you have questions; we'll try to help.

New combined RV Trip Wizard with all the extra bells and whistles

I know you ststed that the new site is supposed to be better BUT all I see is Trip Wizard? Are you going to add LINKS to all the other extras? You raised the price and call it PRO but I still do not see links to all the extras you have added. Can you put ALL the links on ONE PAGE so it is easier to locate, use, and find? Thanks. did not know how to start a new discussion so I just added to this one. Hope you can fix or answer questions.

Thanks for the comment. I've passed this along to our developers and agree with you that the home page should contain this info.

You receive 4 products with your one subscription (called RV LIFE Pro):

1) RV Life Trip Wizard, a web-based Trip Planning product accessed via your web browser. This can be accessed from any device that has a web browser and internet connection. Trip Wizard is used to find campgrounds, fuel stops, points of interest, and plan your route.
https://tripwizard.rvlife.com/

2) The RV LIFE mobile app that will allow you to do real time RV Safe turn-by-turn offline navigation. This can be downloaded and installed on your mobile device from your phone store. Your trips created in RV Trip Wizard will sync with this app.
Login with your RV LIFE login

3) Maintain My RV, a web-based application that allows you to record and get maintenance reminders for your RV.
https://maintenance.rvlife.com/

4) RV LIFE Campground Reviews, a crowd-sourced review of over 30,000 campgrounds. When logged in with your same user name and password, your experience on Campground Reviews will be free of advertisements.
https://campgrounds.rvlife.com/

All products come with a single subscription and all use the same login credentials.

it's also worth noting that if you subscribed at the older, lower rate, your lower rate will remain in place so long as you keep your account current. The price increase is for new subscriptions only

My subscription in 2020 was $39. I forget what 2021 was. This is a great program but the $59 seems like quite a jump. So what does the higher cost actually pay for beyond the tripwizard? I don't remember other subscriptions.

And now it is not letting me get onto trip wizard without renewing my subscription which should not occur until July. ARRRGGGHHH!

If you look directly above the part of Janet's response, that you quoted, she outlines everything you get with your subscription.

I wonder why...just concerned

So I wonder why they are wanting me to renew four months ahead of my July renewal date. Maybe because they are changing the name??? It just seems odd. Hope I am not getting spammed! If I don't renew now I won't be able to continue planning my April road trip. Just concerned.
