RV Trip wizard with Android Auto problem

On my new smartphone, RV Trip Wizard works fine.
But only while its connected to Android Auto does this problem occur.

On phone, I start RV Trip Wizard, go to trips, click on trip and go.
On Android Auto, I start RV Trip Wizard, go to trips, and see all the trips I have made since the beginning of time. I only want the active trip to show, not the ones that were made in the past and prob even the deleted ones.

I feel like this is a Android Auto problem but I am hoping others that use this app know how to remedy this.

A lot of folks get a little loose with the vernacular, so let's clarify one thing here.
On Android Auto you are starting the RV LIFE Mobile App, NOT Trip Wizard. Is that correct?

Trip Wizard is for planning, you must use the RV LIFE app for the navigation.

The RV Life app works fine in our vehicle using Android Auto. Here's what I do. Before connecting my phone to the truck, I open the RV Life app, go to the GPS and find the trip I want. I start the route on the phone, and then I connect it to the truck. That way when I open the app on the truck screen the route I started immediately starts running.

Yes i'm running the mobile app thru android auto

That is a work around, I am looking to see if someone has found a way to fix
