Sights to See

Hi Everyone

We are planning a road trip from Illinois to Memphis and from there on to the Space Coast of Florida. Any suggestions on “must see” as we travel south? Thanks

Drift by way of Nashville and visit the Opry while Ricky Skaggs is playing. His is a great show, and his lead guitar player is one flat-picking son of a gun!

You will likely get more responses to your question posting under the: Camping Locations, Plans & Trip Reports subforum.

This subforum is for issues concerning the RV Trip Wizard Planning software.

However there are tools within RVTW that may give you ideas.

If going to Nashville I recommend Gaylord Opryland Hotel. Best thing we saw on our trip there. https://www.travelchannel.com/destin...ylord-opryland

There are many great attractions in Memphis, plus wonderful food. Places I particularly like are: National Civil Rights Museum, Sun Studio, Stax Museum, Rock and Soul Museum, Beale Street, Graceland, and the Blues Museum. Food: Gus's Fried Chicken (the downtown location) and barbeque at almost any place.

Under POI's you can turn on museum's and quite a few types of places that you may be interested in seeing along the way. If you have the time, you might swing South early and visit the Pensacola Naval Air museum. It's free and has plenty or RV parking. Plan on spending most of a day there.
