Be sure and delete different halves! Joining two short trips might be handy, but if they are really short, just recreating the stops onto an existing trip isn't that hard. As far as merging trips is concerned you are correct that it isn't hard IF
they are really short trips AND
there are no changes to any stops such as notes or cost changes.
A friend and I have been experimenting with the "Send too a Friend" feature of RVTW. If I share a trip with my friend, she makes changes, then reshares it with me, I get a second copy of the trip. If in the meantime I've made changes to my original trip, I now have to manually figure out what's been changed and manually merge the trips. this really limits the usefulness of this trip sharing function.
