Trip Wizard routing under low bridge

I created a new trip from the Twin Mountain Mount Washington KOA in New Hampshire to the Lake Placid Whiteface Mountain KOA in New York. I have my RV height settings at 13’6”. Trip Wizard is routing me through Westport NY on Route 9N and gives a low bridge warning of 10’11”. I have tried to change my height setting to 14’0” and it returns the same route.

I went into Google street view and I can see that there is indeed a low train bridge there.

Is there something I am doing wrong or is this an unplanned feature (bug) in the application?

If you have RV Routing turned on you should not be routed that way. Please confirm your setting.

I just confirmed that my default setting and the trip setting are RV Routing.

I am using both an iPad and a Windows 10 PC with the same results.

The hazards are turned on and that is how I found the low bridge. When the route is calculated I look at all of the warning signs along the route. When I zoom into the area with the warning sign I usually find that the warning is for a road very close to the route but not actually on the route or if it is on the route it is still passable. This is the first time I have had a warning on a calculated route that was not passable based on my RV settings for the trip.

Exclamation Thor Synergy

Low: Bridge, O/H warning. I noticed on my trip plan map that several hazard symbols 'Yellow Diamond' with <10' appear on my map not necessarily my route but when I hover over the symbol a window pops up and says "Low clearance 11'-6' or 12' " or whatever it is. Does the default just indicate anything less than 14'? And the hover over is what you need to find out the specifics? MY rig is 10'-11" per specs.

The low bridges is an all or nothing. The icons are super small so I have reported that. In the previous release they were larger and you could read them without hover.

Low bridge routing

Was this problem with routing under the Westport RR Bridge fixed?
I am using the trial version of Trip Wizard and just had the same issue.
There is a work around if you stay on route 22, take a left on 60 and then a right on 9N. They may not be great roads but it does get around the low bridge.
Not sure why Trip Wizard didn't do that unless there are weight limits.

I also have a trip planned, all info added in RV Routing on. My TT is 11.5' and it routed me under a 9'9" bridge on Interstate 44 between Lawton and Wichita Falls. I understood this program would automatically route you around those. Also find it hard to believe a 9'9" clearance on an Interstate.

You are probably going over the Low Clearance. Zoom in and check on that. No interstate will have a Low Clearance that low. I have see some underpasses not at 16'(std) but never that low.
