Trip Wizard (TW) on iPad - Chrome works GREAT!

Today I tried using TW on my iPad and as usual, it didn’t work very well, it would crash quite often and had major issues redrawing the screen. I also tried it on my new Rand McNally Overdryve 7 RV GPS and it didn’t even draw the screen with a route. On the iPad I used Safari and on the GPS device I used FireFox, their default browsers. Then I tried Chrome on the iPad and TW worked GREAT!!! I then installed Chrome on the GPS and TW worked GREAT! So if you are a Tablet user try Chrome, it really improved the user experience!!

Regards,

Bill

I'm not a big fan of Chrome, prefer Firefox, but I too found that Trip Wizard seems to work much better on Chrome.

I wonder if it could be downloaded on Chrome Book? I will have to try if I can figure it out.

TripWizard is a browser based app, you don’t download the app you just use it while connected to the Internet. I have not tried a Chromebook but would hope it would work ok using its Chrome Browser.

I got Rv Trip Wizard on the Chrome Book last night and it works great. What surprised me was the route I had just finished on my PC came up. I thought I would have to start from scratch again. It looks great but I will have tp have internet for it to work on the road and if it was downloaded it would be there. Oh well, guess you can't have everything.
