Some folks taking very large trips don't always finish their planning up front. Suppose you are traveling all summer and stop somewhere for a month. In that month, the price of gas goes up $3. You want to use the new price for upcoming plans, but don't want to change the values of the route you have taken so far.

Any ideas?

If you are seeing broken routes, send that trip name to Support so they can check it. Since there really is nothing to install on the laptop, the data is all live. You might try another browser just for fun, but reporting the trip with the problem is still the best thing.

Ummm isn't that why you can plug in fuel costs for each stop?
My issue is more the fuel levels and warnings don't update until I click recalculate.

Why so much extra garbage in Turn by Turn Instructions?
When will trip wizard get this fixed? Had a membership for almost one year.
Now when I need turn by turn directions there are multiple references to stay on I-95 (#4-#15). On I-26 (#17 to #27) and confusing exit info.
#16 - Turn right onto 86B when it means take exit 86B” also
I-26 (#17 to #27 “Keep Left onto I-26” and another place the instructions state “#28. Take the exit onto 40” when it means Take exit 40!
Below is complete turn by turn directions:

I don't know the inner workings, but if it is depending on something like Google Maps for routing, that would be the reason.
I can set Google Maps before leaving home to drive 10 miles before my first turn. She insists on interrupting my book many times to tell me to stay straight or keep right etc. multiple times before I need to make a turn. It is not always at a large intersection, there are a couple of places where the light is into a shopping area. She also does the same on the interstate. Keep left to stay on .....
That is just my experience with Google. It could be something more devious.

In addition to AJossy list, I would definitely appreciate route exclusions. e.g. sections that I do not wish to drive, typically because of either heavy traffic or road condition. I do this manually and most GPS devices allow you to add them.
I've often selected alternate routes to save myself from sections that have frequent heavy traffic or give you the same experience as those bar bull rides. I do that at the expense of my time, just to avoid those sections. Although there have been time when going a hour out of my way saved me 2 hours of in traffic time.
One of the things that I find most aggravating, and this is somehow ubiquitous with GPS systems, is that the next maneuver lists some obscure highway or street. The exit signs never list that obscure name but have the common highway or name listed. Can't remember how many times we blew by the intersection we should have taken, looking for some obscure name.

You bring up a good point. Maybe it has something to do with construction lane changes, where there might be confusion? Then if they offered a simple report that mentioned the road only once until the next turn it would provide the user with an easy to quickly comprehend list. The more detailed version might be good if that’s what it is really doing.
Thanks

Those numbers correspond to the Stop #'s in your Trip Plan.

Do you mean Comment #7. As Comment #7 does not address route exclusions. If you're implying that Waypoints can be used to reroute, that's a given.
What I'm talking about is identifying specific segments of routes that are always excluded. Meaning they are stored, for example, in Trip Settings. It is of little utility to always have to reroute around segments manually, every trip, using waypoints. Once they are defined, they should be available until removal.

No, you had added a comment (Post # 21) quoting a previous post (#5) by chindog that talked about identifying Waypoints on the map that were listed in the Trip Section, and that had resulted from dragging the route. At least that's what the post was about that you quoted. I was just saying that there was an answer to that question in post #7. That's all.
