Wizard won't route using a ferry

Trying to route from Cape May, New Jersey to Lewes, Delaware across Delaware Bay. But it routes me all around this body of water. Was able to do this when leaving Galveston TX heading east using a ferry and it worked fine. Tried dragging route and setting stops using both ferry terminals but it doesn't work. Any suggestions out there?

OK tried it again. Deleted both ferry terminals and dragged the way point to the middle of Delaware bay and it worked. This way point is sleeping with the fishes.

I just tried the route from cape May to Lewes and then from Cape May to Georgetown. Both worked fine and routed me across the water. Do you have "avoid ferrys" set in Trip Preferences?
