Hoping to join the owners club soon! What to look for on Snow River
Hey y'all.
I've got a down payment on a
2016 Northwood Snow River 288BHS at a Boise dealer and I (we, family is geeked) are so excited.
If you have time, I welcome your experienced perspective on what to look for in the PDI. I don't expect her to be perfect of course and I'm quite handy. But this is our first purchase of a TT (rented plenty) and we feel incredibly lucky to have found this one.

I don't have a lot of advice but from experience be careful of your trailer tires.
Money spent up front will save you money and heartache down the road.
I had two tires go bad on a trip. One lost it's tread and the other blew out it's sidewall 50 miles later. Both were inspected and deemed safe by an "Expert". I had to purchase 5 tires. That was besides replacing the Black tank..

Thanks Odin! The tires on it are 5 years old and already on my replace list. I've read the Goodyear tires are the best. If you've got perspective, please let me know!
Just make sure the major parts all work. You will have some minor stuff to do but that's just part of the game. When life gets back to normal, try to get to the rally in LeGrande that NROA puts on. It's always nice when a Snow River shows up. If you are a snowbirder, there is a group that boondocks together during the Quartsite big tent sale. If there is a tent sale this year. Welcome to the Northwood family.
