We are about to purchase a new 29-5K and I have not found many threads about the 29-5K. Does anyone have any comments about the 29-5K good or bad?? We currently have a 27-5L that is nice but just too small and not enough storage underneath. We like the big tanks and the 29-5K is the only other AF that has the same size tanks.

We had a very similar floor plan in a Cardinal and liked it. I like the 29-5T for the rear chairs and window better, but the small kitchen doesn't work for us. The only caution with the 29-5K is it has a really high pin weight. For sure into one ton territory. Figure what you carry and see if that puts into dually territory or not.

Same here haven’t seen much on the 29-5K. Just bought a 2020 model but haven’t pulled it or stayed in it yet. First project is to install a permanent Progressive Industries surge protector, so if anyone has done this would appreciate any how to’s.

Thanks for the replies, we have a 1 ton dually and it handles the pin weight very well. We are in the process of getting settled in and making it our own. Purchased it from a dealership in Nebraska and they did a excellent job of getting it ready for the PDI and it was a good PDI. The Salesman was very helpful and efficient. Towed it about 300 miles and it was smooth enough no issues. Time will tell how it does.
