Remove dinette from Fox Mountain 265RDS?

We are considering purchasing an older Fox Mountain 265RDS (in search of!) but only if we can remove the dinette without any issue. We know there is access to the bench compartment from the outside (rear) of the RV. Our plan would be just to cut out the box and close it off. Would there be any issues with doing this that we should be aware of?

Not familiar with ever model and brand out there but looking at pictures of that dinette it looks very similar to others I have experience with and for those, the bench seats are removed, than the plywood, which gives access to the inside of the bench seat boxes, and to the L brackets that have screws into the floor and often the walls.

I don't know what you mean by the "We know there is access to the bench compartment from the outside (rear) of the RV." comment. Pictures?

You'll have to deal with the elec cord on the street side. It coils up inside the coach so you'll have to deal with a box for that or switch the outside shore plug to a plug vs having the hole cord hardwired and stuffed inside the coach. As far as closing off the baggage doors goes, I'd lock them of course then wrap the interior with some nice paneling only mounting it where there won't be any damage done when returning to the stock dinette.

The curb side has a 120V plug that will have wires running inside the coach.

You'll have to furr out the area where the elec enters the coach. Best thing to do is pull up the seat cushions on that side and see whats under there.

IMO it's not an good setup for removing the dinette unless you want to do a lot of cleanup mods. But it's doable nonetheless.
