Unhappy Slant nose front suspension parts.

New to the site and new revcon owner. I have a 1980 slant nose w the second generation front end utilizing the dana 70 IFS. unfortunately, I had a catastrophic failure of the right front wheel bearing that caused major damage. I'm looking for help locating parts so sh doesn't become a #10k paperweight. I'm chasing a steering knuckle, CV joint, spindle, rotor, caliper and pads. I've been told the caliper and pads are '79 ford f350. Would like to confirm that. The shop has taken #'s off the parts but cannot cross reference any to currently available parts. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Welcome to the adventure!

I have a flatnose, so no direct advice, but be sure to thoroughly puruse this OLD site to see if any of the parts are identified to help. The fact that RevCon is extinct makes our slice of the hobby extra challenging.

Not sure where to get the steering knuckle, but the calipers are common. Yes, you can use a Ford F350 rotor, but it needs to be machined down 1/4 inch. Lower ball joint is H1 Hummer. You have to drill out the mounting holes, but otherwise it fits. The CV is an industrial CV used in the construction industry. I'll try to see if I can find the brand name.

There have been a few half frames floating around Craigslist and Ebay. Its just one of those things you have to watch for and stumble on. There have also been a few coaches that have been sold for a few hundred bucks in non-running order. You can strip it for parts and sell the aluminum.

Just to add this, you could try looking up RV salvage yards and start calling around. This one specifically lists Revcon:
Quality Coach (Div. Rec Ve Inc.) Stump Road & Commerce Dr., Montgomeryville, PA 18936
