US/Canada border now closed for all “recreation and tourism”.

Wow, I was headed to Alaska in June. I wonder if there are already people in AK and how they'll get back - I imagine the ferries will also be shut down.

I doubt people have started for Alaska yet. It's still winter there!

I did hear that there are no cruises being planned. I don't know about the ferry system.

Hopefully, for you leaving in June, this will be over!

We were planning on working our way back to Anchorage next month but have opted to stay put thinking our risk of exposure would be less. I also expect that if we don't get this virus under control restrictions on interstate travel may be next.

Good point, we got 11" of heavy, wet snow in Denver yesterday. I imagine Alaska will still have a few good snows. I'm hoping everything settles down soon, for all of us.
