Dalton Highway

Anyone take the Dalton Highway up to Coldfoot recently? I am considering a campground host position at the Yukon River next year.

Are you referring to the Yukon River Camp?

We stopped there for gas and lunch 3 years ago. The staff, two of them, were friendly.
The person who made our lunches said he had been working at the camp for over two years. He took the job because his hobby is photography and he wanted to shoot the stars year round.
He said he enjoyed working there, FYI.

Great Idea

Being the Camp Host at the Yukon River Camp sounds like a wonderful idea. Too bad I can't tie my wife down to staying at one place for more than a week.
