Let us know - how the trip was for you
Ok, we are leaving 2 weeks later than usual in hopes that the Canada crossing will open up a little. We have a place in Arizona and in Alaska and its HOT in Az already.
Several of our usual places to stay let us know they were not yet open because of restrictions. And the place we stay in Whitehorse told us about the 24 hour rule in the Yukon.
Im interested in what you were asked or had to provide at the Canada border crossing, which crossing you used, what restrictions you encountered in Alberta, British Columbia and the Yukon and did you have trouble finding gas stations and campgrounds open once you got to the Yukon.

Last month the Yukon announced they were only giving those traveling to Alaska 24 hrs to transit the territory. Anyone thinking of staying longer has isolate for 14 days. Yukon has only seen 11 cases and no deaths ... and they aim to keep it that way.
There is a link on the Yukon travel page to the restrictions.
Current Road Conditions | Government of Yukon
Canadian border restrictions listed , under " Travel Restrictions & Exemptions " and then " Canada , US Border Restrictions " If your Vehicle has Alaska plates , you may get through. But RV parks and National Parks still closed here.

EDIT: I guess I should mention , current border restrictions come up for review May 21 st. But at the moment it looks like they will be extended.

Thank you watching closely. We have an address, an electric bill, and one of our vehicles is registered for Alaska. Hoping to get home. I also just saw that the offical rule is likely to be extended so really hoping t hear from others that can get home and what it takes

I don't have any official info , but If you are going to try to cross and head for home , have all the info you've mentioned available , and all the food you'll require on board for the whole trip , and mention to border security that you plan on only stopping to sleep and eat in the RV, and fuel up.
I'll see if I can come up with a phone number , where you could call for an official word on your travel home.
Would you normally cross into Canada in Alberta or BC ?

OK give this number a call and explain that you're from Alaska , snowbirding in the lower 48 and were waiting to travel till after May 21 , but with the extension to June , you can't wait any longer .
