Mexico

Planning a trip soon to Mexico. I understand firearms are not allowed across the border. I understand there are lockers in some border towns in the U.S. where to store your firearms until you return. Any info from somebody who knows will help.

The only one I know of with lockers is in Why, AZ. Why is about 20+ miles N of the border town of Lukeville AZ. Mexico uses dogs when searching just like the US. The gun lockers are in the back of the only service station in town.

I left my gun in Why one time because my normal place to store was out of town. It was 5 bucks a DAY for them to go lay it on a shelf in the back room.

I have been using Spragues in Yuma for a number of years now. They have metal lockers that you put your own lock on and the charge is 10 bucks a month. Best place I have found. https://www.spragues.com/index.html
