I just returned from Merida Mexico(By Air) it was beautiful the people are friendly and beer is cheap

Border is open both ways for Americans. I have been to Sonora 5 times and Baja 2 times since March 2020. Here is a picture of pothole repair in Tijuana.

Pretty inventive pot hole avoidance device. I bet it works just fine. I hate to admit it, but the rest of the street looks a lot better than several we’ve encountered in the US. It’s all relative I guess.

Technically the Mexican border is supposed to be closed to foreigners. However the tourism industry needs the dollars. So it is open even though there state dept. states it is closed
