OP - Hope your trip goes well.

On the comment about taking your now RV to Alaska - well, we are wrapping up our second month, and enjoying Homer area now. No more damage here then in the lower 48, so far. Yes, you do hit rough roads at times, and MUST drive for the current conditions.

Would not want to have missed this trip, hope others who want to bring their own rigs do so.

But, to each their own!

Best,
Smitty

We just returned from our inside passage cruise from Anchorage to Vancouver. Scenery was breathtaking. The cruise itself, not so much. Very disappointed in Princess Cruises. Actually, never again will I sail with them.

Smile Alaska Trip Blog is Now Active

I am sorry.

I wrote a post and invited people to read my blog as we traveled to Alaska on a cruise and train trip. Well, my intentions were good, but the Internet in Alaska and on the ship was not.

I am now writing the blog and a few installments are available at Travels With Linda. If you like it, please leave a comment.

Please remember that this is not an RV trip. However, we leave in the motor home next week for Missouri to visit family.

I hope you enjoy.
