I'm looking to avoid I-84 on my way back to Tampa from Maine. 95 isn't an option. Best route with road conditions that won't beat up my rig.

As I said above, we use I-81 and I-84 to I-90 (Mass Turnpike) from Florida to Cape Cod every year going both north and south. There are a few sections that are under construction but those change each year. Overall of the choices it is the best option, I WILL not go I-95 through NY, NJ, DE, Wash DC area.
There is a toll on I-90, amount depends upon what you drive. From I-495 or Rt 128 (I-93) go north to I-95 through NH and Maine.
