Tinted windows on toad in BC

We would like to plan a trip next summer to lower British Columbia, east of Vancouver and or maybe Vancouver Island. The toad (Honda CR-V) windshield has 70 tint (30% darkened) and driver/pass windows 50 tint (50% darkened).

I read British Columbia laws are zero tint. Will we get ticketed for briefly using our toad on short trips for a week with these tinted windows on the toad ?

The rule is " No tint darker than factory allowed forward of the drivers shoulder ".

I would have to check to see if the regulation applies to vehicles registered outside of BC.

Right offhand I don't believe it does.

British Columbia motor vehicle act and regulations expressly prohibit window tint on driver or passenger front windows and is subject to a $110 fine. If you're not licensed in BC, it does not apply to you.

I wish we had regulations like this in the US or enforced them if we do.

I like to see the eyes of other drivers, so I have an ideal of what they're going to do.
