Trip to Canada need info

My wife and I are planning a trip to Vancouver at the end of April.
This is our first trip to Canada and was wondering about about the food we normally take on our trips when we get to the border. I have read the rules, but does it mean that we have to clean out our refrigerator and pantry?
My wife usually cooks up meals for our trips. We may have to eat everything up before we cross.
My wife vapes, are there any problems taking her vape liquids across the border?

Any tips for us?
Thanks,
John

Can't guarantee anything, but Canada isn't that concerned about the food your bringing in. Weapons, big nono, amount of alcohol, obviously no illegal drugs.

Based on my experience crossing a couple of times a year with or without the RV, I don't think they will be too concerned about prepared meals. Wait until you are north of the border to stock up on fresh fruits and vegetables.

We have never had an issue crossing the border, either direction with a full fridge.
Certain items seem to be an issue so we just don't carry them until over the border.
Items include: Lamb, Goat, Mutton, Eggs, Fruit and Produce.
We take several home cooked prepared meals and have never had an issue.
Check the online government sites for up to date restricted items.
No firearms, ammo and ensure you have paperwork for your pet.
Leave your marijuana at home as you can buy it legally in Canada now!!
Enjoy your time in our country.
