Troy MT to Banff advice

We will be in Troy MT at the end of May with our 38 DP traveling to Banff. I'm looking for advice on the best place to cross the border and travel route. I have routed crossing at Roosville and traveling on 93 but am wondering if taking 95 and crossing Eastport-Kingsgate would be easier? We are flexible, I would appreciate suggestions from members with experience.

I would go up 93 personally. It's a nice drive up the Rocky Mountain Trench. Then follow 93 at Radium Hot Springs over to Banff.

Thanks for the come back.

The recommend route to cross the boarder is at Sweetgrass which is a bit out of our way plus we don't like following the heard. On the map 93 looks like a better option. What the map doesn't indicate is if the crossing at Roosville will be the same routine for an American as Sweetgrass? Also, if 93 is a large RV friendly drive to Banff? Is "up the Rocky Mountain Trench" a steep grade?
