Don't buy into the Flu hype, do buy into the stock market
The Coronavirus Flu only has a 1 to 2% death ratio, making it no more dangerous than any other Flu in the past, and actually safer than many years. Also, the Flu season ends in April each year.
Dr. John Bergman - Truth on COVID-19
USA Flu Deaths in 2017/2018 totaled 80,000 (not a blip on the news about Flu casualties) https://www.cnn.com/2018/09/26/healt...-bn/index.html
WORLDWIDE Flu Deaths in Winter 2019/2020 is still less than 3,500 (this is a WorldWide total, not just USA numbers) https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/
I would suggest not taking Flu shots or Flu cures as Dr. John Bergman suggests; but, people are driven by fear like a flock of sheep, and most people "blindly" trust their governments. Turn off the mainstream media news and use common sense, if you are elderly with many health problems, avoid crowds for the next 4 to 6 weeks, if possible.

Ridiculous panic. Turn off whatever “ news” you are listening to.
You are much more likely to be killed by lightening.

that's cuz it's just the flu. if the media would report the daily death toll from tge flu and its complications i'll betcha we'd see lots of panic.

Actually they do not yet have data to support claims of a death rate because they do not have a way to know how many have been infected. They only have a percentage on those they have tested. The WHO number repeated by the media (3.5%) is likely that...and the media are too weak brained to report it accurately.
A Dr. this morning from CDC suggested it is likely about the same as seasonal flu...which so far has killed 16,000 in the 2019-20 season. But estimates vary: https://www.cdc.gov/flu/about/burden...-estimates.htm

Guys like you is why there is a shortage of the mask. If you are that afraid of catching something, why ever go into a populated area, you may catch a cold virus from someone. LOL

The advice I have been given by a couple of docs is to stay away from large groups of old people. I guess I should cancel all my trips I’ve got planned. Not going to happen. Just use common sense.

Just got back from a month in Florida, Georgia and Carolinas. Did not notice any special precautions. Limit you time with other and wash your hands, etc. if you are concerned. Enjoy your trip.
