Cool Covad-19 Shut-Down: All dressed up and nowhere to go!

Our plans have certainly been shot to heck with the stay home orders and campground shutdowns up in my area of the world...

We had a bunch of stuff planned, Diesel is down in price but... all dressed up and nowhere to go!

Made reservations for 2 different Indiana State Parks the week-end of April 11 and then April 18 some time ago. So far, Indiana State Park Campgrounds are still open and allowing camping, but only with a prior reservation. No walk-ins. Almost all activities are canceled, closed, no group camping, no shelter houses, no cabins, no park offices open either. But camping is still on! Yea.

I'm not dressed yet, but I'm ready to go anyway!

Had to change my plans since the Keys shut down. Georgia state park for 2 days and Flagler beach for 5. Beach is closed but I have to flee the pine pollen for some allergy relief.

We were all packed up and going to Tucson AZ for 30 days but canceled. Tomorrow we are going to campground 16 miles for the house that is privately owned and almost empty for 5 days. We are not under any restriction with zero cases in the county we live in or the one we are going to. Not going to mingle with anyone and smoke some steaks and enjoy our short vacation away from the house.

You could be in my boat and can't go home! Hoping I'm better off where I am!

We were out camping last week and practicing social distancing. Starting this week our state is stay at home (WA). State parks are closed through the end of April.

We were to leave next week for a three month/7,000 mile trip. I have 12 of my 29 stops cancelled so far. I plan on keeping my reservations that puts me in the NW corner of Arkansas for the July 4th week and the 3 stops on the way back home. My brother and his family live there. All of the other stops are thousands of miles away and would be impossible to make now. Most of these were are NP and SP's where a lot of them are closing.

Good deal. I figured there will be two types of people during this lockdown. One type will be healthy and lose weight from exercising. The other type will be unhealthy and they do nothing but eat and gain weight. Our resort is wide open and 90% of our occupants are doing the healthy route. My wife and I ride our bikes for 3 laps (1 /2 mile each lap) one day and then walk two laps the next day. We take a day off and then do it again.

Yeppers, Spring trip gone bye bye. We are so thrilled with our newly installed seats and reupholstered dinette, only took the dealer 5 months to complete, just in time to park the RV in storage.

If you're going to Skidaway, just received notice that a full service site came available for 4 nights beginning April 26.
