What we are seeing is way too many people, not social distancing and not wearing a mask. Over this weekend, from the number of people flocking to beaches, bars, etc., it seems they all believe that the COVID -19 is over and nothing to worry about. I guess there are an equal number in the RV community that think (or lack thinking) the same.

Great post Ken, I think this is what most of the people that are posting about, and it's not the lack of thinking, but having someone else thinking for us!

Time to get back to normal now. Identify and protect the most vulnerable and move forward. And... let’s close out the corona virus threads. Many are opinionated on this subject and don’t care what others think anyway.... including myself.

In theory I agree with closing down the threads, but I don't believe that the masses will allow it. If the COVID forum was closed or removed people would just start threads in other forums where they could talk about this, or would simply sidetrack other ongoing threads. It IS going to get discussed and debated, so we might as well keep the threads corralled here in their own forum. That gives the moderators the option to delete COVID comments out of non-COVID threads, with a reminder that we have a place for that discussion.

I don't have to look at this forum if I don't want to. No one has to be here. Make a choice in your life.

I am not seeing that. In the last week been to the food store and Lowe's twice. Got out for 4 walks in the neighborhood.

Did see a man and women standing next to each other in the check out line. My son was standing next to me.

Do people who live in the same house need to social distance from each other when in public?

Watched my son's local news for weather and local information. One story was about decorating a car for high school graduation. Three dingbats were clearly not practicing social distancing. Then the interview started. Mom stepped up to the mike on a tripod. Reporter stood 6 feet away.

Did mother, daughter, and aunt need to be 6 feet apart and wear masks? My initial impression of dingbats was wrong. Just a life moment being shared by a family.

On this forum we have the opportunity to share our experiences be about tires or traveling during covid-19.

Since March, I have been in 9 states. I have not practiced social distancing in 4 different states. Family and special friends who are at low risk for spreading a virus. I keep in touch with these groups and none have had any physical contact with a known covid-19 carrier.

I evaluate what I can do and not do based my personal experience not what is happening in NYC.

Carry on...
Unfortunately too many of the posts are inherently political.

I quit looking at most of the posts on this topic because the same suspects are making the same old arguments again and again with a strong echo chamber.

Sorry, I encountered technical problems at my end completing my post.

Personally, I'm very tired of "the New Normal" that keeps getting tossed out. I believe most of this will be forgotten and we will be back to our old normal. As a nation we have very short attention spans.

Agreed. Those who come to the Covid forums make a choice to do so. If one does not want to see or hear about the opinions or information from others, the choice is clear. Do not click on the Covid forums.
I too, cannot wait until this is over. Hopefully we will not have another pandemic within my lifetime (20 good summers if I’m lucky)

Cheers
