COVID-19 mask wearing.

If I have recovered fully from the virus, and have antibodies in my blood. Then do you think I should still practice wearing a mask and social distancing or should I not worry about it as I cannot get anybody sick.

Just my personal opinion, but I feel you should abide by whatever the restrictions are in your area. The people around you won't know that you are now immune and not a carrier. Plus there have been instances where people have been reinfected.

I absolutely think you should wear a mask! There are a number of people who've recovered from Covid-19 who've caught it again! Even more severely. The doctors now say that Covid has mutated. There was a news segment just today on the topic.

At this point, when the virus is still pretty active, my answer would be yes. As a retired educator I can tell you that modeling behavior for others is important. While you are most likely not going to infect anyone if you go without, by wearing one you are setting a good example for others to follow. You are also not stressing out others around you that don’t know that you’ve had it.

Sure, you don't need a mask. Just tell everyone around you that you already had the virus so they are safe,,,LOL . That's going to go over well.

You will be all day explaining that you are safe to skeptical people or getting disapproving looks . Might as well go with the flow & wear the mask where required or common practice in the area.

I have not seen anything to say 100% that if you have it you are immune or can't get it again. Whats so hard about putting a mask on for a few mins to go in a store?

Not a big deal in TN since most of the people aren't wearing face masks. I went the to the grocery store 7AM Friday, I saw only one other person wearing a mask.

However, they did just make masks mandatory in Knoxville where cases are sky rocketing.

Personally I've worn a mask since it was recommended at the beginning of the pandemic and wish they would just make it mandatory across the country. Seems like it would solve a lot of problems.

One of the older ladies of the church today asked the pastor towards the end of the service today. When are you going to take that DAMM mask off. Enough said.

I spent the weekend in Deland, Fl doing chores for my MIL. The City had just passed a mandatory mask requirement when you are in public and not able to social distance. Tickets and fines for those that don't comply.

I had to run to the local Lowes once on Friday and twice on Saturday. everytime I was in Lowes I saw people not wearing masks.

This morning I drove down to Melbourne to take care of medicine for my 94 YO father. I stopped at Raceway/Racetrack for my wife to use the restroom and to purchase a drink. On the door was a sign saying Corporate was now requiring all who enter to wear masks. We turned around and got our masks from the car, entered the store and we were the ONLY customers in the store with masks on.

There's always going to be people who don't comply and are too selfish to think of others' health.
