I have had both shots. Moderna vaccine administered at a local pharmacy.
I had no ill effects from the first shot. Not even a sore arm. The day after I got the second shot I seemed tired the morning after but it wore off by noon time and i was going about my daily routine. No soreness in the arm.
My wife has had her first shot (She's two years younger than me and they changed the age for getting the shots) and she had no ill effects either. Same shot at the same pharmacy. She's due to get her second shot in two weeks.
We're still careful where we go and who we mingle with.

Janssen (Johnson&Johnson) has their vaccine out now for use. The efficacy is considerably lower that Pfizer or Moderna.

When I woke up around 4PM, the chills were worse, I felt really tired/drained, and I had some slight pain in my right arm at the injection site. I spent the rest of the evening feeling the same and was wearing a coat in the house. Right before going to bed I took a couple of Ibuprofen tablets and slept through the night...which is pretty unusual for me. This morning I pretty much feel like everything is back to normal for me.....no achiness, no chills, and just a very slight soreness in my arm at the injection site. All in all, a pretty easy experience and certainly worth the inconvenience of feeling a bit achy and sore for less than 24 hours. We'll see how it goes after the second shot which is 4 weeks from now. My wife goes for her first shot this coming Sunday, and presumable will also be the Moderna vaccine, as she is going to the same place I did.

Please note .....

Our doctor was very specific about not taking Ibuprofen or Aspirin after receiving the shots.

They only over the counter pain medication he recommended was Tylenol .

I'm not a medical professional , but I will take his word on what is recommended .

Here's an excellent article on the efficacy of the 3 vaccines:

Also, this is a great article on the vaccines, in general:

CDC states you shouldn't take it BEFORE getting the vaccine but afterward is OK if you have any adverse symptoms.

Got my first dose today, wife yesterday. Pfizer vaccine. What a hassle it was to get scheduled for an appointment. Months of checking daily to find appointments are not available. I am relieved that I finally got it. I hope everyone will get an opportunity soon.

I've had my name in at the hospital and a pharmacy for six weeks and no call. Wed, our doctors office called to confirm a scheduled annual checkup on Thursday for my wife and asked if she wanted the shot. They said I could tag along and get it too. Only side effects are a few body aches and a mild headache. Neither prevented me from my daily routine. We are WI residents, but spend six months here at our AZ home. No resident ID questions asked.

We were put in a pool of "essential workers" that registered for the vaccine in early February. Last week they started calling some of us starting with the oldest. I'm only 55 so I'm about halfway down our list and may see something by end of month.

My wife and I have had both shots with Pfizer vaccine. No I’ll effects at all. The shots were three weeks apart, the last being administered on March second. It was a bit of a hassle getting an appointment set up. Our county health department was charged with initial administering of inoculations, I believe now there are some pharmacies that are getting involved. We too will continue to wear masks and social distance due to our concern for others.

The wife and I both got our first dose of Moderna Wednesday, March 3rd. We were both sore at the injection spot but nothing to really complain about. Other than that, no other side effects.

Had both Moderna shots. Sore arm for a day and a half each. Nothing else.

DW and I had the second of our shots last month. We did have a slight fever and aches for 24 hours after the second but nothing serious.

I got my 1st Pfizer dose a week ago after being randomly picked by one of my healthcare providers. No issues with this one. Needed to travel ~40 mi to get it. If I’d waited for 3 days I could have got it at my local provider, go figure!! No worries. DW is under 65 and isn’t on the schedule til late spring.

I received my first Pfizer shot on February 16th at the north Las Vegas VA hospital. Over 250 people in line all day. 2 hours and 45 minutes later I received my shot. Have an appointment for March 9th at the same VA hospital. No ill or side effects, just some soreness at the injection site. I'll continue to mask up out of respect for others.
