I think you need to rework your parameters. If I know of 1 person I would be correct selecting 2 or 3. If I know of 5 people I would be correct selecting 3 or 4.

A husband and wife in my town caught it back in mid March, I only casually knew her, but he was one of my high school english teachers back in the 1980's, and I would say hello to him when I ran into him over the years (town of about 10,000 people). He was still teaching as of this year, longest serving teacher in the area, had been teaching for 48 years. She passed away from it a couple of weeks after catching it, and he has been in the hospital on a ventilator since March. Chances that he will ever get off the ventilator are very low. I have not heard a status update about him in a few days, but last I heard the doctors were considering amputating his leg, I think due to complications related to being on the ventilator.

Iím not a regular here, but the problem is not with the responders response, but how you worded your question. Both ď2Ē and ď3Ē are true for me because I know 1 person that died from this, a father of a good friend, a healthy athletic person in his 50ís. If youíd worded your question more carefully AND used A B C D instead of 1 2 3 4, the people who are helping YOU by answering your question might simply be thanked instead of chastised for helping you in the wrong way. Are you someone who begs for food and then says you donít like that kind of food when you get it?

Sorry for what may seem like an overreaction, but this one sure rubs me in the wrong way.

How about you answer your own question? How many friends have you lost?

And I see this is a poll, but only after going into the web view. Polls donít show up on tapatalk. So realize that everyone doesnít see the world through your eyeballs.

I have not had it, no family member has had it, no one I know has had it and they don't know of anyone that has had it. I hope it stays that way. When I first herd of the virus I thought I would be dead by now, maybe I am.

Same here... donít personally know of anyone having it. I had some mild flu like symptoms in mid December that lasted a couple days so... maybe I had it and didnít know it.

And until last week, I didn't personally know anybody who had the virus. Found out that our out-of-state nephew came down with it. He is 27 and otherwise very healthy. Reports lethargy and sore throat.

Regards.

Chuck

I voted NO. Two of my neighbors got it after he went to his Fathers funeral in North Arkansas and his wife got it from him. His Father was in a nursing home and in bad shape already, but they listed it as a Covid-19 death. They did not go to the hospital and used OTC medicine. Their immediate neighbors got them anything they needed while they self quarantined themselves.

Actually, it is a Yes or No question.

The title of the thread is a yes/no question. The survey is flawed, as BobGed pointed out. If I gave the survey to a class, hands would fly up for the reasons he pointed out.

It’s the title, and it is the question immediately above the multiple choice answers in the first post. There is nothing more.

Indeed, the choices of answers are flawed. They would still bb flawed if they were changed to:
0
1
2-4
5 or more
