For those of you currently on the road..
It would be interesting, as well as instructive, to read about your current experiences and observations during this period of restricted movement and limited commercial activity. Traffic, businesses open or closed, changes in traveler’s habits, and perhaps most importantly campground status reports could be helpful to others thinking about heading out, and informative for those of us “sheltering in place”?
I hope this is the best place for this thread.
Thanks in advance....

I traveled from Ocala FL to Vermont 3/16-3/18. We found no TP at any gas stations all fast food was takeout. The roads where full of RVs heading north but the gas was cheap.

Just got back from Bull Shoals SP Arkansas
Campground was packed, fishermen were fishing - even with guides. Restaurants were open and serving. Had no difficulties getting gas on trip. State Park closed their visitor center and guided events

Thanks for reply's
I am ready to embark on an Arizona to Pennsylvania trip in my 40' class A and the replies have been helpful. I am planning on boon-docking the entire trip with only stops for fuel. Just two adults so the 100 gal water/waste should get me there. Have plenty of food/propane etc. Assume my biggest issue will be finding rest areas - Walmart's - Casinos to park in. That is saying no roadblocks get put up. Plan is Interstate 10 to 20 to 30 to 40 and then 95. All interstate highway hopefully the truckers will welcome me to the pack as they have done in the past. Am I missing anything? Lets assume staying put is not part of this discussion.
Again many thanks all!!Stay Safe

I not down there, but hearing reports of flood conditions in the Mississippi River area. Weather radar shows bad storms in the area. Be safe.

Travelling from Rockport to Ontario, Natchez Trace traffic was very light, about 10 units in each campsite. All other interstate travel seems the same.

It's been raining in Ohio so we're having some minor flooding. The ground is very saturated. Temperatures dropping tonight to high 20's. It sounds like you won't be going through Ohio though I'm guessing the weather is about the same in parts of PA.

Just headed out of Texas Hill Country on Thurs. morning with no problems seen on I-10 East. Fuel is readily available. No place to sit down and eat only carry out. Restrooms may not be open at some rest areas but rest areas open. We are heading up I-59N and all is the same. Things could change on a daily basis. We are in Mississippi now and will continue moving north on Sun. The campground we are in has all facilities closed and only doing over the phone booking and leaving an info packet out for arrival.

Sounds like it must be a bit surreal traveling around right now.

Las Vegas is pretty much closed. Governor ordered casinos, restaurants and schools closed. Take out or drive though only. Gas stations and grocery stores open. Gas available and store shelves empty for the most part. Most small businesses closed. Most RV parks open but all state campgrounds closed.

We are hunkered down in Albuquerque, New Mexico currently. We had planned to stay until April 17th visiting grandchildren but my mother-in-law has taken a turn for the worse.
We have tentatively decided to travel back to western New York, departing here on April 6th. We had planned on laying up in Camping Worlds, Walmarts, or Cracker Barrels but I think we might have trouble finding places to accept us.
Our routing would be I40 E, I44 E, I70 E, I71 N and I90 E.
If anyone sees anything that might be a problem, please let me know.

At least highway traffic has less volume. Especially around the large cities. For travelers 60 and over, many of the grocery stores have a special early morning hour set aside for them. So if your traveling back to your home state and over-nighting in a WalMart lot, stock up before your leave that morning. 7-8am or 8-9am seems to be the senior "hour".
