I don't know what the prices will be, but it will be more than I want to spend.

There's pent up demand that will keep prices stable or higher. Where I'm looking to buy, they are selling a lot of coaches...

My guess, and guess is the operative word, is that there will be an initial spike in sales spurred mostly by newbies. Cheap fuel prices and low interest rates will spur a bunch of sales early on. Once many of the newbies find they really aren’t into RVing then I would expect a glut of used units to hit the market.

As with everything in these unusual times, it’s just pure speculation.

I'm of a similar "guess" with the big unknown being the future economy. If the economy recovers quickly and future looks stable RV sales could go up, since it is a good method of travel. If economic recovery is stalled and unemployment persists RV sales will also stall.

This newspaper article might offer a clue into the future: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/artic...sales-shoot-up

I'm thinking the majority of people with motorhomes...and the majority of people who are out of work...are not the same people. A huge percentage of MH owners are retired, for example. Another big chunk are business owners who are wealthy and won't be hurt by the pandemic...or if their business is hurt, their lifestyle won't be affected. I'm guessing MH sales won't be adversely affected...and there won't be a glut of used MHs on the market any time soon.

Recent sale experience

A dealer called me back after initially indicating no interest to purchase my 2015 Tiffin Allegro Red 33aa couch to offer me a better price that I accepted. The buyer explained the turnaround by claiming they want to have high quality stock which implies they are expecting business to pick up.
