I figure I might get it in June.

Sure looks like the US is not going be getting the volume as first described.

But June might be good. 1) much more experience with the vaccines, 2) more vaccines in the market to select from.

Not sure I believe in the NYT's calculating estimate, but it was funny to see how far down the line it thinks I am.

Behind 23.0 million people across the United States.
Behind 496,900 in my state with higher risks
Behind 15,200 in my County

Course that all depends on 'Barney Rubble' cooperating with disbursement plans (Governor)

Vaccinations started today for health care workers in Iowa. More locations will spin up Tuesday and Wednesday. Our state has been planning for this for months, so it is expected to go fairly smoothly. We are scheduled for the third wave and figure we won’t be eligible until March - over 65 but healthy with no co-morbidity.

I'm in line behind 118.5 million people across the United States.

I'm behind 8.1 million others who are at higher risk in my state.

And in my county I'm behind 173,700 others.

Looks like it'll be a while

Theoretically it is being disbursed right now.

Do you know anyone that has received the shot yet?

It looks like the Moderna vaccine could be approved Friday, 12/18 for emergency use. I'm starting to look around for when deliveries and inoculations could begin. We still have AstraZeneca and Johnson and Johnson to finish trials and attain FDA emergency approval.

Here's to hoping we can soon be asking not if "the" vaccine has arrived in our communities, but "which ones" as well.

Good luck, good health and safe travels.

Received Jansen labs (J&J) vaccine 5 months ago 2 shots 28 days apart. Reaction was slight. Felt like someone beat me up the next day. 1 degree increase in temp. Weeks of 14-16 vials of blood draw following shots. Seems to work. No mask since beginning of Covid. Good health age 77. So good luck to all.
13 month study of results.

Thank You for being one of the many test subjects in the vaccine trials ; we wouldn't be at this point without your participation .

My next door neighbor is a nurse in the ER. He's scheduled to get his shot Monday or Tuesday.
