Has Covid Vaccine Arrived in Your Area Yet?

Has the Covid Vaccine arrived in your area yet?

Theoretically it is being disbursed right now.

Do you know anyone that has received the shot yet?

Best case , for someone in my age group and area , will be late April.
With hope that everyone who wants the shot will have access by Sept.

Distribution going to heath care workers those in care homes , first responders.
Then working down in age of the general population.
It's a LONG way from over.

I meant the vaccine, not the disease. That's everywhere.

Not to anyone I know of. I'm well down the list for getting it. I don't expect it to trickle down to me until late Winter or early Spring.

We live in Michigan so my sonís hospital got the vaccine today and he will get his shot tomorrow. Some of his staff donít want the shot but I think the hospital might make it mandatory.

From what I’ve read it starts Monday and not to “general “ public that will be months away.
this is at least even best case a 5 month process .. being almost 70 I’m hoping somewhere near February. My daughter in law is A respiratory therapist in a COVID ward and will know this week when she can get the shot , at least that was what she was thinking.
You think the lines for testing were long ... just wait.

According to that NYTimes "Where are you in the vaccine line", I have 10.4 million Texans in front of me in line.
It will be a while before I even am asked.

Oh oh, my apologies. Misread.

Governor in MN says soon, the shipments are on their way. But to us, donít know.
I had found an online calculator that asked your location and other info to determine your in line ranking. It said Iíd be 475,000 in line of MN population of ~5.7M, wife was at 2.7M.

Weíll get it but Iím more than happy to wait, weíre holed up and safe. Many others more deserving.
