Restrictions??
We are planning a trip to elkhart Indiana, over to the east coast then down to Florida.
With the uptick in covid, does anyone know of any travel restrictions?

Not travel.... but places you may stop. Check out the city web site as you travel and read signs when going to places. Every state and place is different.

We have chosen to limit travel again this year with the upswing in COVID cases. Better to be safe and live for another year.

Every place is different on requirements. When we were in Elkhart, August 22-24, there was no requirements for masks. In Ohio nothing. Penns. had requirements but depending on location, anything with the Gettysburg area, Federal places, masks were required. Eisenhower Farm buildings were closed to the public, just outside access. Gettysburg Welcome Center masks are required and tickets prepaid on line for timed entry.
Washington DC masks are required in ALL museums. Smithsonian required mask everywhere, lot of exhibits are closed to update. Air & Space is opened but about 1/2 exhibits are closed. Outside masks are not required. We left DC area on Wednesday and are now sitting in Chesapeake Bay area of Virginia around Gloucester, Va. masks are not required here, yet.
We have seen individual businesses have signs up requiring masks but I have failed to see one that will say anything to a person NOT wearing a mask. We always mask up when going into a store such as Wal-Mart or a grocery store in any place we are located.

Indiana is pretty Covid friendly, so I wouldn’t expect you’d have to wear a mask there. Should you stop in Illinois, be prepared to mask up indoors.

I don't see how you're risking anything in an RV. We traveled over 10K miles this past season with no issues whatsoever. You're more 'protected' in an RV than living in a S&B place as most likely you'll have people over, or you'll be going out to eat, etc, etc. In our MH, we eat INSIDE. If we go outside, it's not around anyone.
With that said, due to the uptick in numbers, I would be EXTRA careful no matter if we're traveling or staying put and having to shop/dr apt, etc, etc.
We've had very close friends get COVID this time around, so we are just extra careful....but we still travel.

It depends on what you want to do. If you want to do sightseeing from your rig or toad, you should be fine. If you want to visit tourist attractions, you might have issues with closures or restrictions. No one can guess what the restrictions will be in the future, so just keep an eye on websites where you want to go. We traveled last year, but it certainly was different with so many tourist sites closed. We will be traveling again soon (recovering from rotator cuff surgery), but we stay away from indoor spaces including restaurants. We shop for groceries in the early mornings when traffic is less. We still had a good time last year and expect to have one this year, but we take precautions.

I live in central west coast of Florida and have not read about or heard of any restrictions.
I see a few people wearing masks, but not that often.
Comeondown!

NY State, even with 4.5-6K new COVID cases/day is pretty much open for business with our new governor taking a more relaxed attitude. There are some places that are starting to strongly suggest masks but even that is not widespread.vet.
If you have been vaccinated and have no major health issues, fire up the coach and go.

Wrong there. There are no state restrictions now I am aware of (Hawaii has been talking about them though), but last summer Texas and Louisiana put up barriers. There were some around New York and some other eastern states too. Luckily those have all been cancelled.
