RV resorts and Covid

I have not seen anyone mention this, but are RV resorts requiring documents for covid? Either a Vax shot with docs or a covid test with negative results.
I do NOT want to talk about whether you should have the Jab or not have the jab. I am just curious about the parks/resorts and their requirements.
Thank you.

Never seen anything more than possible masks in lobby and social distancing, primarily in government parks.

This is for the lower 48 states. Hawaii would be different, and Alaska may have Additional requirements traveling thru Canada.

None in CA or AZ that Iíve visited. Most just ask that you mask up when inside the office.

I'm curious about this as well. Aren't there a bunch of parks down along the Rio Grande in TX where the snowbirds congregate? I have the impression that getting together in large groups for bingo, potlucks and drinking is part of the attraction. How is that working out this year?

To answer the question in context of the topic: the same as it always has. Texas does not require proof of any medical treatment in order to camp, stay, play, or live.

The only state that I know of that does require this proof of travelers is Hawaii, and not a lot of RV owners make that trip with their RV.

Yes, I figured the state didn't. I think OP and I were wondering how the RV resorts were handling it.

Many states prohibit medical questions by any local business. The answer I provided was based on that assumption.

In Texas, the state prohibits RV parks from enforcing any kind of discrimination, including medical. The same is true in Florida.

As said earlier, the strictest of parks will require face masks and social distancing. That is the only requirement I have ever heard about within the 48 states for any parks open to the general public.

I have heard of a few communities and private organizations that have additional membership requirements, but nothing from any organization that is discussed here (ie: Encore, Thousand Trails, etc). The organizations I have knowledge of that have these extra requirements are clubs with invitation only type memberships.

In the Chicago area, many businesses require medical proof to enter the establishment (restaurants in particular), but the camp grounds, both state and private, in the same area do not have such requirements.

In your travels, you are more likely to encounter issues at grocery stores and restaurants than you are at a campground.

I would be shocked if there was a single general public campground, commercially operated that did have a medical questionnaire.

One category that *may* have such questionnaires is the military campgrounds? Maybe someone will have first hand experience with those.

Safe travels!

I've been pretty much everywhere in the last 2 years. No one is requiring papers or making you wear a mask.

We're in California and they're pretty restrictive in CERTAIN areas. You get out of the L.A. area and masks are rare. However, any of the Government visitor centers are requiring them.

I haven't had a single campground ask for proof of anything related to covid and we have traveled to a lot of places. But then again, we have avoided states like California and New York as well as large cities outside of Texas.

In my limited travel since Covid began I have not seen this, what I have seen is closure of public shower facilities and bans on gathering in club houses, etc. as well as some parks becoming long term resident only, and no contact check in.
