Yup, we should just let the inventory sit on the lot so none of the workers will ever get back to their jobs.

The house we sold in 2016 to go full-time just resold 3 weeks ago for $40,000 more than we sold it for. Wow, the timing of it all, of course, par for us. But we're happy, safe, and mostly sane.

Thankfully, I guess we have some more time to get back into the stock market after we had thought our opportunity to invest was gone.

Big picture, stop the judgy thoughts of buying cheap. Thankfully there are people buying!

I totally agree that they should advertise.
When did this forum become the want ads?

Our forums aren't want ads, so long as the OP has a financial interest in the link.

Personally, I feel it's bad taste to take advantage of a national crisis, where people have died/will still die, to garner business. But that's just my opinion. On the flip side, it's been done for years: Hurricane Damage Sale!, Flood Damage Sale!, Hail Damage Sale!....etc. Maybe they're trying to stay in business during a critical time. Who knows? Capitalism at work.

Regardless of our thoughts or our sentiments, we still live in a free-enterprise economy where people and businesses can thrive or die. It's a balance of the product one has to offer, and the availability of want and resources for the one who's to purchase that offer. That's what has made America great ever since the Revolutionary War. Businesses come and go. We humans adapt when changes happen. And in light of what's been happening in our world over the last 3 months, we (all) are learning how to deal with new business models.

The time has come for all of us to re-invent ourselves. Times HAVE changed. They are not "changing".... no, no, no.... they HAVE changed. Get with the new program or be left behind.

Kudos to this company and more power to anyone who is in position to purchase a new camper!

A new world order is now here! Sorry, the old one is gone! Time to get with it folks.

I have no financial interest in them and had never heard of them before I saw that.

Another local large RV dealer sent me an email today that had this paragraph in it:

"Right now you can get the RV you need delivered for free to your home and make no payments for 90 days*. This limited time offer applies to a wide selection of RVs."

It is becoming a theme for dealers to want you to buy online, do no PDI of your own, handle the entire transaction electronically, and Voila!, it shows up one day.

While I have some disposable income, I sure don't have enough to trust a dealer quite that much.

There are going to be a lot of Used RVs for sale this year, because of the economic impact.

Many will be quite recent, and were heavily financed.

Some Dealers and smaller Manufacturers will likely disappear too.

Unfortunately, that is just the way it is.

It will be a Buyer's Market for sure.

I still watch all the prices here in Canada on used rvs. Nothing has dropped a cent so far.

Maybe, maybe not. A lot of people may change their way of traveling when this all goes away. Cooped up in an airplane or staying at a hotel where who knows who or what stayed in there the night before. They may even think it would be nice to have your own food and utensils along with you when you travel,,, I guess we will see.

I'm sure it's gonna be a buyer's market.
But what if you have one to trade (or sell) - it's not going to garner what it should, either...

Seems like a wash.

I have no issues with a company trying to keep their employees working and their business away from foreclosure.
That being said let me see if I have this right. The dealer wants you to spend $200K+ on a motorhome, sight unseen & delivered to your home. With all of the horror stories of poorly built units, terribly long waits for warranty service and customers being ignored by both dealers and the factory after the sale one would have to be an idiot to do this. No PDI ? REALLY ? I would think the dealers and manufacturers will now be laying in the bed of customer mistrust that they have created.
JMHO, and no, I don't intend to buy/ upgrade. Perfectly happy with what we have now.
