Tow Dolly

I have a 15 year old demco tow dolly that the brake system is shot. How many toe a dolly without brakes?

I Tow with surge brakes and even hook up the very important breakaway cable.

I would hate to see my pickup truck and dolly rolling down the highway without some kind of braking.

I have a Stehl. I towed for 3 years with no brakes on the dolly and no issues.
I added brakes to it 2 years ago for safety reasons.

Why not repair the brakes, chances are other parts of it need maintenance also

what do you mean by brake system is shot?if you have the drum brake dolly the actuator and brake shoes etc are readily availible.

Not to be rude, or perhaps ignorant of what is being asked, why would anyone want to NOT have brakes on anything of any weight being towed? Sounds precarious at best.
