2021 Verona dash Option Switch?

Ok what is dash switch labeled option for? I was going to use it for my air bag inflate but when I opened the dash I could see wires going to the switch. I cannot figure what it does, any help?

Thanks

We don’t have a Verona but the option switch on our 2014 Renegade is for the reverse/backup lights mounted on the rear wheel panels.

I believe if it is already wired it's known as a smart switch and can be programmed through a PDM as part of the Freightliner wiring to control anything, there's a wire in there somewhere...

Ours is labeled "Docking Lights." Backup lights as noted above, mounted near the rear wheels.

The same on my 2014 Explorer. Plastic box with terminals is hard to find underneath. I chose to use the option switch for ground lights. I installed a switch closer to the driver under the steering column with a bright LED for the airbag inflate function.
