I asked my factory rep about using an external with the built in, he did not recommend it as they could interfere with each otherÖ?
I did just have a low power situation this last trip (over Easter) where on a 30AMP I was not getting but 4-5 AMPS. They checked the outlet and found two loose connections. Once tightened I was able to get near 25AMPS so, yeah things happen!
